DataKrat Company and Ural Sberbank Bank, Raschetnie Reshenia JSC (part of the Sber ecosystem), with the support of the Visa international payment system, have implemented a new solution based on VENDOTEK terminals for the Sunny Valley and Egoza ski resorts.

Now resort guests can use their bank cards or a cell phones that support Google Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay technologies instead of a ski pass or ticket.

Payment for the lift can be debited from a bank card or a cell phone with a contactless payment module, directly at the checkpoint. SberBank is the payment operator, which guarantees high reliability and processing speed.

Thanks to VENDOTEK POS terminals, contactless banking transactions are not afraid of snow, cold and wind! VENDOTEK accepts payments with cards outside the premises.

The service operates on the basis of offline acquiring, which will allow in the future to launch not only a one-time pass on a bank card, but also a subscription system. According to forecasts, this winter about 20% of tourists will use the service.

Mastercard payment system has verified the compliance of Terminal Technologies Group with the Terminal Quality Management (TQM) requirements. The quality management system has passed all stages of control. A mandatory certificate has been obtained, which is necessary for cashless payments by Vendotek cEMV validators & POS terminals, Transitek card readers.

Terminal Technologies Group is annually tested for compliance with TQM requirements, previously we certified production in Latvia, and in recent years - our own production in Russia. The task of the TQM program is to maintain the quality of devices that interact with bank cards.

During certification, special attention is paid to the configuration control system. The solutions and processes implemented in Terminal Technologies Group were fully approved by the auditors.

DataKrat Corporation has integrated VENDOTEK POS terminals into the Bars Payment and Access System for ski resorts. Turnstiles are equipped with a long-range antenna manufactured by DataKrat. The new solution allows you to pay for the ascent with a bank card if you do not have a ski pass or have run out of money on it.

This solution was implemented at the Malka ski resort in Sheregesh. A long-range antenna with a reading range of up to 40 cm allows you to get to the lift via a ski pass based on NXP ICODE chips. And the presence of a contactless POS terminal from VENDOTEK adds the functionality of a paid pass – by bank card.
